The Auditor-General provides assurance to Parliament on the accountability and performance of the Victorian public sector.

To achieve this, VAGO conducts over 570 financial audits and numerous performance audits across a diverse range of portfolios including infrastructure, health, education, water, local government, insurance, justice, treasury and superannuation. Such a diverse portfolio allows our people to gain unrivalled audit experience working throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.

VAGO participate in the VPS Graduate Recruitment and Development Scheme (GRADS), where we take part in the Generalist Stream and place graduates in our Performance Audit group. The GRADS is an extensive twelve month development program which aims to provide graduates with a range of work experiences that offer professional variety, opportunity and challenge.

We are seeking graduates from a broad range of academic disciplines including those with double degrees.
