Project Rosetta (Streams 1 and 2)

In July 2002, The Multimedia Victoria (MMV)  obtained approval and funding to launch its Telecommunications Purchasing and Management Strategy (TPAMS). TPAMS included funding of $16 million over five years for an integrated directory infrastructure for the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG), known as Rosetta.

Project Rosetta is a crucial, whole of Victorian Government enterprise electronic directory project to introduce a uniform set of electronic meta-directories in the 10 portfolio departments. The overall objective of this audit was to assess whether Project Rosetta (Streams 1 and 2) has been effectively managed.
