The Working with Children Check (WWCC) was
established to reduce the risk of physical and sexual harm to
children by stopping unsuitable people from working or volunteering
to work with them. This audit examined the effectiveness,
efficiency and economy of the WWCC.
The report assessed whether the scheme had been implemented
effectively, had an adequate quality assurance framework in place,
resulted in improved outcomes and was operating economically and
efficiently.
