Parliamentary reports - prior to 1995

The following reports were tabled in the Victorian State Parliament by the Auditor-General. They contain the findings of performance audits and audits of financial statements, as well as a report on the finances of the state. All reports are prepared under the authority of the Audit Act 1994, and are tabled in Parliament.

Purchasing practices Tabled May 1994: The overall objective of the audit was to assess the extent to which budget sector agencies achieve value-for-money in their purchasing arrangements, with due regard to probity and equity; and the current budget sector accountability framework is conducive to the effective management of the purchasing function.
